The problem we set out to solve
Booking a trip in Liberia has always been a scatter of separate conversations. A hotel here, somebody's cousin with a car there, a tour you only hear about once you have already arrived, and an airport pickup you arrange by phone and hope for. Prices are quoted in messages. Cancellation terms are whatever gets said at the time. If you are coming from outside the country, there is often no way to know whether the place you are paying is real.
The other side has the same problem in reverse. Plenty of good businesses here — guest houses, tour operators, fleet owners, transfer services — have no way to be found by somebody planning a trip from a laptop three countries away.
Wuhkorbor exists to close that gap: one account, one search, one checkout, and real businesses on the other end of it.

Hotels, apartments, lodges and other places to sleep, with rooms priced by type.
Attractions
Tours, experiences and day-trips on set time slots, run by local operators.
Car rentals
Local fleets, with pickup at the airport or in town and deposit terms written plain.
Airport taxis
Transfers booked ahead at a fixed price, with meet-and-greet where the operator offers it.
Because they sit on one platform, they work together. You can put a stay, a tour and an airport pickup in the same cart and pay once, instead of juggling four apps and four logins. And a vendor who does more than one thing — a hotel that also runs transfers — lists both from a single account and shows up in both searches.
Liberia first, and only
We only book inside Liberia. That is a choice, not a limitation we are waiting to grow out of. Knowing one country properly — the cities, the operators, the way people actually pay — is worth more to somebody planning a trip here than a thin listing on a site that covers everywhere and knows nowhere.
Prices settle in the currency the vendor prices in. You can switch what you see to compare, and the site reads in English or French, but the money stays honest to the business you are booking with.
What we hold ourselves to
A booking platform is only worth anything if people can believe what is written on it. Four things we do not bend on:
Vendors are checked before they sell
Every vendor clears identity checks — government ID, a selfie and a business licence — before a single listing goes live. Listings go through moderation too.
Reviews come from completed trips only
A review can only be written by the person who booked and finished that booking. A new listing with no reviews shows no reviews. We would rather have an empty space than a fake star.
The price you see is the price you pay
Taxes, service fee and the cancellation terms are on the page before you pay. There is no Wuhkorbor booking fee bolted on at the end, and no surprise on your statement.
We say what is actually true
A booking does not say refunded until the money has gone. A payment that is still settling says so. Copy that flatters us and misleads you is not worth the traffic.
For the businesses on the other side
Wuhkorbor is a way for a Liberian business to be found and booked without building anything itself. You sign yourself up, pass KYC, and put your listings up — stays, tours, vehicles or transfers, all from one dashboard.
- No plan to buy and no sign-up fee. Wuhkorbor takes its commission out of each booking.
- Payouts to a bank account, MTN MoMo or Orange Money — whichever suits you.
- One dashboard for bookings, calendar, messages, reviews, payouts and analytics.
- Money for a booking is held and released after the stay, so both sides are covered.
Paid plans with lower commission come later, and we will tell vendors before anything changes.
Where we are going
The aim is simple to say and hard to do: make it easy to experience Liberia, and make it worth a local business's while to be on here. That means more of the country covered, more ways to pay than the one that is live today, and more of the trip handled in one place rather than in five.
We build it in the order that helps people first, and we would rather ship something honest and narrow than something broad we cannot stand behind.
